Due to the predicted winter storm and concerns for the safety of our employees, Albertville/Boaz Recycling will be closed on Friday, January 10. We will reopen on Monday, January 13. All curbside routes will run as scheduled. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe!

FLUORESCENT BULBS: (A CHARGE OF $0.45 FOR EACH BULB)
Due to some recent market changes in how our buyers are accepting certain types of plastics. We are having to make some adjustments in what we accept. We appreciate all the efforts each of you go through to help keep our landfills from filling up but sometimes things our out of our control. The following are the changes:
NO LONGER ACCEPTING #6 Plastics (ex: solo cups, clear containers from cookies, some cat food containers, yogurt cups). Just look on the bottom for the
NO LONGER ACCEPTING any type plastic that does not have a recycle # on the bottom or side (ex: various hard plastic items) Just look for a number on the item.
